Homeowners and Renters—What should I do first?

You will need to gather the following information and submit to Miller Energy. Please note that Miller Energy is not liable for the application, appurtenances, conduct, or associated costs incurred to submit an application. Miller Energy reserves the right to approve or reject the notification letter or application based on the review:

  1. START A LETTER OF INTENT: Send a one-paragraph letter to letter@MillerEnergy.ME stating that your city would like to apply for an application to Miller Energy (.ME) Yireh Motor Power Plant.

Write "Letter" in the email subject line. A $100.00 fee shall be paid by check for the letter review. In the letter, provide estimates and information for the following:

  1. City, state, and country where the power plant and households will be located;
  2. estimate the number of households expected to join the supply grid;
  3. a photocopy of a city map showing your perimeter outline sketch of the probable household customer area and possible open spaces for the power plant location; a 15,000-household application may encompass a medium size area;
  4. provide your contact information;
  5. Be advised, we are told some phone calls and emails to ME are blocked by an entity. If blocked, hopefully it goes to voicemail; keep trying; this is a one-of-a-kind opportunity.
  6. if you receive a certification document and notarized letter of acceptance, then proceed with submitting the application below.
    1. If you are submitting from an area outside of the contiguous United States, please indicate that on your application, as well as the language spoken. All correspondence must be completed in English.

______________

  1. START THE APPLICATION PROCESS: Write down the contact names and information for the coordinators of this application, including their available contact times, in Eastern Standard Time (EST-New York). If you have an attorney, government officials, and/or other professionals associated with the application, please include their contact information as well.
    1. Gather 8,000–15,000 names of people who will pay electricity bills in the supply grid. These individuals must be connected in the same location as determined by the coordinator. In the future, ME may provide an underground electrical supply to grouped households at no cost to each customer.
    2. Conduct research for seven-acre parcels of land to be developed as the power plant site. It is best if it is not located near publicly occupied land, such as schools or offices. Please provide a few options for our research. Please note if they are unbuilt areas, as they are better for construction.
    3. List any interested local contractors or subcontractors for the construction of the power plant. Also list any professionals who may offer services concerning power plant administration or design.
    4. Tax-exempt status for ME would help improve consideration of the application for power plant construction, as cost estimates would be lower, but this is not mandatory. A letter from both U.S. senators and the governor would also help the application process for construction consideration of the power plant.
  2. Send the 8.5" x 11" application digital sheets as noted below:
    1. Request an encrypted email from ME to application@MillerEnergy.ME, when received, place the completed application in the encrypted email and send it to back to ME.
    2. Place a cover sheet on the front with "ATTN: ME Application" written in bold print.
    3. Include "ME Application" in the email subject line, followed by your city and country.
  3. If the application is approved by ME, a nonrefundable fee will be required for architectural and engineering estimates and inspections of the site and local electrical infrastructure. This fee is determined by the scope of the construction project, and coordinators will be provided with an estimate of probability for investors.
  4. Implement the following details 1 through 5 in the paragraphs below to complete and submit your application.

1. Application: Provide your contact information

  1. Provide a cover sheet with the words "ME Application" centered on the sheet, see downloads below. Write down three main contact names, emails, addresses, primary phone numbers, and additional qualifying information you wish to provide. You will also need associate coordinators in this application and their information. Provide one associate coordinator for every 500 people or so. Provide your available contact times in Eastern Standard Time (EST-New York).
    1. If you have an attorney or government official associated with the application, please include their contact information as well.

2. Application: Customer names for the power plant—no payments

Fill out the application forms and remember no investment payments are made or collected; it is informational only. Participants will fill out the forms with your help. You may gather information from participants through an online platform, group door-knocking, or other secure activities. The process may also be conducted during a group meeting, where prospective cooperative members can ask questions, at the coordinators' secure location and discretion.

ME is not involved in gathering names, except to provide the form and receive it back via encrypted email. ME is not responsible for any process you use to collect signatures. Your process must be safe and respectful to all. Any misconduct or false information during this collection process by or from possible cooperative members will render their applications for the city void for a specified amount of time. Please act professionally at all times. To download the application forms, scroll down to "APPLICATION FORMS - DOWNLOAD."

3. Application: City map sketch of seven-acre proposed sites

Provide a black and white copy of a city map (U.S.) on an 8.5" x 11" aerial view showing nearby street names, including the zip code and county name. Each location would be to scale, showing a red marker line at the perimeter of the supply grid area and power plant site for consideration. If a power plant site has a licensed surveyor survey available, please provide it. Sites can be smaller or larger than the ideal seven acres suggested.

4. Application: Local participation is important

We value local communities and are committed to improving your lives. Please provide the names and contact information of interested individuals like architects, attorneys, contractors, and in general those who could contribute to the power plant project. Include what they can contribute and the businesses they own. Most project work will be bid and awarded, and this list may be used to compile bidder lists or hire local entrepreneurs. Volunteers may also be able to assist. You could also mention the percentage of seniors, military personnel, and people with disabilities in the name list application.

5. Application: Send to Miller Energy (.ME)

Send the 8.5" x 11" PDF application via the encrypted Miller Energy email you received.

Place the downloaded cover sheet on the front with "ATTN: ME Application" written in bold print.

When returning the completed application, reply to the encrypted email ME sent you. A GoFundMe site will also be created for Miller Energy for your city. Anyone in the mapped area can invest. If you are not in the mapped area, thank you for your gift, but you will not be part of the supply grid. If the GoFundMe campaign does not raise the estimated construction funds, the funds will be returned, except for the required GoFundMe fees they require.
